The first thing you should do is read the HELP section, which you can find in the MENU next to the search box.

It's amazing how many people don’t know where the Menu is. All the important things that you need to operate BaanTu are inside of it, and everyone who creates a new account is shown a picture of where the menu is when they come online for the first time.

In the same MENU you can find ACCOUNT, which will tell you what account type you have, and in case you have a subscription, how long it is valid and when it will be renewed for what amount. You can also cancel the auto-renewal of the subscription here if you want, or update your credit card.

You have to understand that the “standard” Graph, based on your birth time is relatively pointless. It only shows you Channels that are present all the time, but in order to get the complete information, you have to include the Transit (current position of the planets). You can do this by pressing TRANS or using the period buttons for 48h, week, month, or half year. It’s a very complex calculation that will show you through varying levels of brightness how long certain Channels are present over a period of time. This unique feature of the BaanTu software then will show you the influence of the Program. This doesn’t mean you can only do what it shows. In principle, you can do whatever you like, but what a Channel means is that the Program is insisting on something, once it becomes highlighted. The book “The God Code” explains all of this in great detail and is the instruction manual for using the software.

When you hover over the Channels, you'll see for how long they are active.

By going into the People Directory (inside the MENU), you can browse more than 1,000 celebrities. You can also search anyone on the system (public people and you own private library) by any of the three symbols (circles, hexagons, triangles). When you look at my Graph, you see six numbers in the top row. To search for somebody with my code you would type “213-333”. You just read the top row of the Graph from left to right and add a hyphen in the middle to separate body and mind. The fun begins when you use wildcards (*). For example you could look for everyone who has a Circle-3 on the body and Circle-2 on the mind by typing “3**-**2”. Or you search for everyone who has a Hexagon-3 on the mind by typing “***-*3*”. In addition you could type a location. To search for somebody who has no shame on body and mind side (very confident) and is from Moscow and female, you could type “*3*-*3* moscow” and select “Female” from the dropdown menu. The combinations are endless.

It’s also great fun to select “Famous” from the drop down menu and type in your six digit code into the search box to see which celebrities have the same qualities as you.

Another brand new feature is the glow that you see around certain Gates and Centres in the new Graph. These are the most important Gates and Centres for you. They define your Life Role. What’s interesting is that some people have a glow around an undefined Centre and this would have been missed in the old HDS-based system. Just because a Centre is not defined in your birth chart, doesn’t mean it’s not important. After all, it can always become active, either through a transit or another person. But now you can see clearly what matters to you. In the old HDS-based system there was too much focus on definition in the birth chart, ignoring all the other important information.

The relationship page has been re-designed from the ground up. The new relationship algorithm is a lot more sophisticated than the old HDS-influenced one. In fact it’s not even a comparison. You really have to try and see how accurate the information for yourself. Again, I highly recommend the book to understand all the parameters, but what’s new is that in the People Directory, you can actually see with the help of the little dots under the six symbols if another person has characteristics that you find attractive and are looking for in other people. If there is a cross, it means you find that quality annoying.

Contrary to what some might initially think, the relationship star-rating doesn’t tell you who the right person is, but rather how much time you are able to spend with them. It’s not about “love”. Love comes from the Magnetic Monopole, influencing your Love Centre. You can’t explain “love”. But you can love someone and spend a lot of time with them, or you could love someone but need more space. It’s the characteristics we see through the Graph that determine how much space a relationship needs. But only you can decide who the right person for you is and who isn’t. It’s false to assume we should only be with 5-star people and not with zero-star people, when in fact it only shows us the time the Program wants us to devote to each.

The Cycle calculations can be found in the Menu next to the search box. Here you can calculate Solar Returns, Lunar Node Returns as well as the Oppositions, Chiron Returns, Uranus Oppositions, Saturn Returns – and most spectacularly of all, the brand new "All Solar Returns" for the BaanTu 2.0 mode.

Cycle calculations are usually for students of the BaanTu Academy where we teach the subject. But with the new BT and HD buttons you can view the standard Cycles in BaanTu 2.0 and Human Design Mode. The "All Solar Returns" is only available in BaanTu mode.

BaanTu 2.0 took the cycle information as first presented in Human Design and has made them more user-friendly. It's now easier than ever to see relevant and useful information, and if you don't want to, you don't need to consult the I Ching to decipher.

BaanTu 2.0 reveals your goals and desires with the help of the Lunar Nodes. The Sun/Earth is our basic nature (which we can't overcome), but the Lunar Nodes represent our aspirations, they reveal who and how we would like to be, and what we are "pushing" for. In the "All Solar Returns" calculation, you can see for yourself how the Lunar Nodes (your desires) change from year to year throughout your life. You have to see this as an additional or secondary quality to your basic nature of the Sun/Earth. There are years when you initiate more, and there are years when you are more confident than usual. But you can also see whether success, feeling or respect is more important in one year to the next.

Similar to the Human Design Mode that I announced in my last newsletter, I've now added a "BT" button to show a similar Planetary Square, but based on the new BaanTu 2.0 System.

The Graph and Planetary Square, showing all the Gates, have also been further visually enhanced for both modes. When you hover over a Gate or Centre, the software will highlight all the Gates it can find in the Planetary Square. You can, for example, hover over the "Love" Centre and see immediately what Planets and Gates are activated/connected. This feature also works also with the Transit Mode. Sometimes the same Gate can be activated several times, with Gates hidden underneath another one in the Graph, so this allows you to easily spot how many Gates you actually have in a certain place.

By clicking on the Gates in the Square, you'll see extra information below. But you can also see information about the Channels when you click on them in the Graph. First, when no Gate/Channel is selected, you see just the basic info for a person under the Graph (both for the BT and HD mode). For example, in HD mode you see the Type, Authority and Cross. But after selecting a Channel/Gate, it switches to show you the Channel/Gate information. To bring back the overview, you have to click the same Channel/Gate again to deselect it, or click on the background next to the Channels (the human shape).
